A focus on tailored learning...

People with autism should be encouraged to grow and develop new skills at their own pace.

Bangeston Autism Care Services provides each service user with their own individual programme of activities that they follow for the working week (9am to 4pm Monday to Friday).

The programmes are varied but most will include common elements such as communication skills, living skills, horticulture, workshops and gardening. Other options will include speech therapy, music, art and aromatherapy.
All of our programmes are approved by the National Autistic Society (NAS), an accreditation which is formally renewed on an annual basis.

We also offer the ASDAN ‘Towards Independence’ preparatory awards programme, helping individuals to develop their personal, social and independence skills.

Some service users also attend vocational courses at the nearby Pembrokeshire College, with support from our own staff where necessary.
