The Old Manse is our latest acquisition and is a large property on the outskirts of Haverfordwest. The village doesn’t have much in it apart from a community centre but its proximity to the centre of Haverfordwest – approximately two miles – means that there is plenty to do within a short distance. Haverfordwest is the largest town in Pembrokeshire and is the administrative capital for the county.
The Old Manse is surrounded by countryside and has a very large back garden which will mean that service users coming to live here can be virtually self-sufficient in terms of facilities needed for day programmes. The larger facilities of Bangeston Hall will also be available together with the specialist staff based there.
As with Rosendale in Lydstep the initial plan is to open with four new residents mainly from the Pembrokeshire area.
